The Garden

Just as much of Number 31’s creative spirit can be experienced and enjoyed outdoors as inside.

A beautifully designed garden, inspired by the contrasting moods and styles that characterise indoors, connects the mews to the townhouse. Although busy city streets are just a few metres away, the garden is a calm oasis where you can sit, chat, read or just contemplate the ever-changing sky overhead.

Its focal point is the fire fountain which, as its name suggests, creates a dramatic fire-and-water spectacle. Complementing this is the graceful Gloire Au Merite statue adjacent to the townhouse’s entrance.

Bathed in early light, and with the fresh morning air making everything seem even more alive, the garden is a wonderful backdrop to breakfast in the conservatory – one of the many highlights of staying at Number 31.
