A walk through the cobbled stones of Trinity College Dublin will bring visitors back to the 18th century,
and offers a view of the Book of Kells, the world's most famous medieval manuscript.
This historic attraction is less than 20 minutes’ walk away from us at Number 31.
The Book of Kells is a 9th century medieval manuscript famous throughout the world and Ireland’s greatest cultural treasure.
It contains a richly copy of the four gospels in Latin text. The book also consists of complex scenes normally interpreted
as the Arrest of Christ, His Temptation, images of Christ, the Virgin and Child, St. Matthew, St. John.
There’s a magnificent Long Room Library, which houses 200,000 of the oldest books in its oak bookcases,
famously featuring in the Star Wars films. It is stunning to see and explore.
